Job summary

Canopius is seeking an experienced Workday Financials Reporting Analyst to design, build, and maintain custom reporting and analytics across the Workday Financials domain. The role focuses on Composite, Matrix, and Advanced reports used to deliver financial statements, plan-versus-actual comparisons, and consolidated management reporting.

This is a hands-on build role for a 9-month Day Rate Contract inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Extensive, demonstrable experience building and maintaining Workday Composite, Matrix, and Advanced reports.
• Proven track record delivering robust finance reports and dashboards.
• Ability to translate finance requirements into well-structured reports.

Responsibilities

• Gather and refine reporting requirements from finance stakeholders and translate them into designs.
• Design and build custom reports across Workday report types (Advanced and Matrix).
• Construct Composite reports by combining data from multiple sub-reports.
• Configure columns, calculations, and formatting for accurate outputs.
• Validate outputs against finance sign‑off criteria and business rules.
• Document report designs and prepare specifications for sign-off.
