Job summary

Panda is seeking a Workday Finance Expert to support and enhance our Workday Financial Management platform in Leeds. You will work across IT, Finance and Procurement to ensure accurate, efficient financial operations and optimise processes, integrations, and reporting.

The role requires a qualified accountant with hands-on Workday Financials experience and strong communication skills to train users and support audits.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional accountancy qualification.
• Proven Workday Financials experience.
• Strong finance processes and reporting knowledge.
• Experience supporting financial systems projects.
• Workday EIB and reporting tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day Workday Financials support across financial modules.
• Investigate and resolve system issues, coordinating with internal teams and Workday Support.
• Manage configuration changes and support testing and deployment of Workday updates and new functionality.
• Create and support data loads using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Composite Reporting.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement and IT to translate business requirements into system solutions.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve user experience.
• Support audits and compliance by providing system data and documentation.
• Train finance users on Workday functionality and best practices.
• Monitor Workday Community for product updates and new features.
• Create and maintain process, procedure and configuration documentation.
