Job summary

Next Ventures is seeking a Workday Finance Lead in London to drive advisory and delivery efforts across transformation initiatives. You will shape end-to-end Workday solutions, architecture and processes, and manage client relationships through the delivery lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings Finance technology experience, ERP implementation background and Workday certifications, with a strong ability to translate business needs into practical system designs and data migration support.

Qualifications

• Experience in ERP, EPM and cloud computing (including storage, platforms and data).
• Finance transformation experience with one or more ERP packages Oracle, SAP or Workday.
• Translate business requirements into system designs covering functional and nonfunctional aspects.
• Workday data flows and data migration support knowledge.
• Experience designing / implementing ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Workday Finance Lead, Hybrid - London, £850 - £900 per day (Inside IR35), 6 months

Key Responsibilities:

• Engaging in both advisory and delivery projects, from helping clients with their transformation strategies, to supporting the full lifecycle of Workday delivery projects
• Working with our clients to develop their overall solution architecture and end-to-end processes, to be supported by Workday technology
• Identifying key client process and technology / integration issues and recommending solutions
• Having a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture

Essentials:

• Experience in ERP, EPM and cloud computing (including storage, platforms and data)
• Relevant work experience in Finance technology or related field
• Finance transformation experience with one or more of the leading ERP packages Oracle, SAP or Workday
• Translate business requirements into specific system, application or process designs covering both functional and nonfunctional aspects
• Demonstrate a good understanding of Workday transactional data flows, but also to provide knowledge, insight and support for data migration activities
• Experience designing / implementing ERP systems
• Ideally, Workday Finance, FDM and Engagement Manager Certified
• Possess good problem solving and analytical skills
• Be able to plan and deliver the scope and deliverables of the team
• Manage stakeholders using clear communications and be able to form strong client relationships
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of risk in relation to ERP delivery projects
• Work effectively within an inclusive team and actively support the development of individuals and teams, both formally and informally
• Experience of at least two end-to-end Workday implementations.

Desirables:

• Demonstrated understanding of the current state of the art for automation, continuous integration/deployment and cloud-based delivery models
• Comfortable talking about technical issues with businesspeople and business issues with technical people
• Able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences
