Job Description:

The Planet Group has recently been engaged by an established Workday partner to secure two Certified Engagement Managers on a contract basis (initially 3 months). The roles can be based in the UK or Europe and offer remote working.

Role Overview:

As a Workday Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the successful implementation of Workday solutions for customers. This involves working closely with customer business teams and internal delivery teams to define, scope, and deliver solutions that are fit for purpose and commercially viable. You will take accountability for the entire delivery lifecycle alongside sales and capability Solution Architects. Your responsibilities will include project planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, commercial management, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of global Workday programs from pre-sales to implementation and handover to Application Management Services (AMS).
• Serve as the key client interface between functional and technical teams and the client.
• Provide domain expertise (HCM, Finance, Payroll, or relevant Workday capabilities) to offer functional insight and thought leadership.
• Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, commercial management, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead and support teams comprising colleagues, clients, and partners to share knowledge and develop an integrated delivery approach.
• Define objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and contractual terms with the client.
• Identify requirements, business processes, configurations, testing plans, and document artifacts to ensure shared understanding and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Create structured and accurate deliverables and present to client steering committees to secure recommendations and agreements.
