Job description

Workday Specialists x2 are needed by a well-known and long-established company based in Worthing, which provides a vital service across critical national infrastructure. There are two separate roles for Workday Specialists, focusing on supporting the configuration, integration, and optimization of new Workday system modules within key HR functions.

The first role is specifically around Workday Learning & Talent implementation, and the second around Workday Payroll implementation. Candidates should have extensive hands-on configuration skills with either of these Workday modules.

As a Workday Specialist/Consultant, you will manage multiple complex tasks, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. Strong proficiency in either Workday Payroll or Workday Learning modules and a solid technical background are essential, as these roles require regular collaboration with the wider organization. We are seeking a Workday SME with strong technical proficiency.

Workday Specialist Requirements:
  • For the Workday Learning Specialist:
    • Extensive experience with Workday Learning modules
    • Experience with Workday Talent Management module is a plus
    • Workday system administration and configuration skills
    • Data analysis and reporting skills
    • Strong communication abilities across teams and departments
  • For the Workday Payroll Specialist:
    • Extensive experience with Workday Payroll, including modules like Expenses, Compensation, and Benefits
    • Workday system administration and configuration skills
    • Experience working with finance and HR to define expense policies
    • Data analysis and reporting skills
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities

    These roles offer a competitive salary of GBP50,000 - GBP60,000, plus bonus and benefits. Attendance at the Worthing office is required once per week.
