Job Title: Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant
Location: London - Hybrid 2 x days a week
Salary/Rate: £800.00 per day inside IR35
Start Date: May 2025
Job Type: 6 month initial contract

Company Introduction
My Client within 'Big 4 @ consulting is urgently seeking an Adaptive Planning Consultant to contribute to the design, implementation, and ongoing support of our Workday Adaptive Planning solution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and functional expertise in financial planning and analysis, coupled with hands-on experience configuring and optimising the Adaptive Planning platform.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

1. Participate in the full lifecycle of Adaptive Planning projects, including requirements gathering, model design, build, testing, and deployment.
2. Design and build sophisticated planning models, reports, and dashboards within Workday Adaptive Planning.
3. Collaborate with Finance and other stakeholders to understand their planning, budgeting, and forecasting needs.
4. Translate business requirements into effective and scalable Adaptive Planning solutions.
5. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and integrity of planning models.
6. Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and optimisation of the Adaptive Planning system.
7. Create and maintain relevant documentation.

Required Skills/Experience

1. Proven experience as a Workday Adaptive Planning Specialist, with hands-on configuration and model-building expertise.
2. Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
5. Workday Adaptive Planning certification is highly desirable.
