EPM Assistant Manager – Workday Adaptive Planning

Location: London-based with UK-wide office flexibility

Contract: Permanent | Hybrid Working

Salary: £46K–£60K depending on location and experience

Join a leading global consultancy’s fast-growing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team and be part of one of the UK’s largest Adaptive Planning implementation programmes.

As an EPM Assistant Manager, you’ll combine financial insight and technical skills to deliver scalable, cloud-based performance management solutions—most notably using Workday Adaptive Planning. You’ll also be part of a collaborative team with a strong internal culture, high-profile projects, and clear pathways to career growth.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading and supporting the delivery of end-to-end EPM solutions, primarily using Workday Adaptive Planning
  • Designing, building, and testing models, sheets, and reports for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Collaborating with internal teams and clients to translate business needs into practical solutions
  • Coaching junior consultants and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing
  • Supporting business development and contributing to client proposals

What you’ll bring

  • 3–5 years’ experience in EPM consulting or finance transformation
  • Strong hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, including model building, cube/sheet design, and OfficeConnect reporting
  • Understanding of financial processes and planning cycles
  • Experience in client-facing environments (consulting background is a plus)
  • Adaptive Planning certification(s) highly
  • Broader EPM/ERP tool knowledge (e.g. Anaplan, Oracle, SAP, OneStream) is beneficial
  • Finance qualifications (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA) are an advantage but not essential

Location & Working Model

  • Base: London (main team hub), with options to work from other UK offices such as Bristol, Manchester, or Birmingham
  • Hybrid model: Typically 2 days per week on client site, with monthly team meetups in London
  • Some travel may be required depending on project needs
