We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of a Work Supervisor, on a 12-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £27.75 - £35.59 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Contractor Management: Oversee and manage contractors to ensure timely and high-quality void works that deliver value for money.
• Void Turnaround: Ensure voids are completed quickly and efficiently, minimising delays and reducing backlog.
• Scope of Works (SoW): Draft detailed SoWs using the appropriate Schedule of Rates (SoR) codes.
• Coordination: Act as a key point of contact between Housing Needs, Property Services, contractors, and other internal departments.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect and sign off completed works to ensure all voids meet required standards.
• Proven experience supervising or managing property/void works
• Strong knowledge of housing/property maintenance and void processes
• Ability to draft and interpret Scopes of Work using SoR codes
• Excellent contractor management and negotiation skills
• Strong IT skills, including reporting, data entry, and presentation creation
