Workshop Team Leader – Fabrication & Machining

Location: Telford
Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (39 hours/week)
Pay: £18.00 – £19.00 per hour (DOE)

A well-established sheet metal fabrication company, specialising in mild and stainless steel, is seeking a proactive and experienced Workshop Team Leader to oversee a skilled team of welders, fabricators, and machinists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations within the workshop.
  • Supervise and support a team of welders, fabricators, and machinists.
  • Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Coordinate workflow and allocate tasks effectively.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a workshop leadership role.
  • Strong background in sheet metal fabrication, particularly with mild and stainless steel.
