A leading property maintenance organization in the UK is seeking a Work Planner/Scheduler for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this full-time role, you'll coordinate a multi-skilled trades workforce to ensure effective maintenance services. The ideal candidate has experience in building maintenance and strong IT skills. This hybrid role requires occasional travel to Birmingham and Worcester offices.
If so, we have an exciting temporary opportunity for a Work Planner/ Scheduler within our Platform Property Care planning team that could be for you! This would be a 12-month Fixed Term contract from September 2025 to September 2026. In this key role, you'll join a motivated team responsible for planning a multi-skilled trades workforce to deliver both planned and reactive maintenance services.
Our Work Planners are central to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring repairs and installations are completed right the first time. This is a Full-Time role working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 - 16:30 — so no weekend working.
Responsible for planning an operational multi-skill trades workforce, maintaining contact with field teams, and liaising with customers, you will need to be highly organised, approachable, and a confident communicator. It is a busy role, juggling different priorities, and you will need to remain calm under pressure, think on your feet, and work on your own initiative. But this won't phase you as you will excel in organising engineers and scheduling property maintenance and repairs. You will also have the support of a great team around you.

This role is a fixed-term contract with Platform Housing Group/Platform Property Care, working predominantly on a contract supplying repairs and maintenance to Rooftop Housing Group.
While this role is home-based, there will be an expectation that you can travel to our Group Offices in Birmingham Business Park, Solihull, or Central Park, Worcester on an ad-hoc basis, and as required. There is a team meeting every other month, and other infrequent travel, which will be reimbursed according to our current policy and Inland Revenue Mileage rates. Car parking at our offices is free.

Salary: £31,140 per annum + Excellent Benefits
Location: Worcestershire/West Midlands - Home Based with regular travel to Worcester & Solihull offices
