We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Workforce Co-Ordinator to join our administration and nursing teams.

In this crucial role, you’ll be the driving force behind ensuring smooth operations at our hospital, managing staff rosters, and making sure every shift is fully covered – whether through internal employees, bank workers, or agency staff. With the Priory Online Rostering system at your fingertips, your I.T skills will be put to good use as you help maintain a seamless service.

The role will be fully accountable for ensuring that the Priory internal rostering system is updated for all the wards in the hospital, this will include:

  1. Liaising with Ward Managers to ensure permanent employees are rostered a minimum of 8-12 weeks in advance including appropriate planning for holiday and training in line with the ward staffing ladders
  2. Seeking to fill vacancies in the shifts with overtime and bank in the first instance
  3. Being the liaison for site for temporary agencies to fill vacant shifts when all other avenues have been exhausted
  4. Supporting Ward Managers to achieve their responsibilities and accountabilities in the provision of safe and effective staffing
  5. Responsible for filling short term vacancies (i.e. to cover sickness) as a priority

The Workforce Co-Ordinator will work shifts on a 12 hours basis to include weekends and bank holidays.

Shift times would be 07:30 > 19:45

The Workforce Co-Ordinator will work a set shift pattern, this will be as follows:

Week 1 = Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
