Job summary

Horizons College in Royal Wootton Bassett is seeking a proactive Work Experience & Destinations Coordinator to deliver high-quality work experience, careers and destination programmes. You will secure meaningful placements, build employer relationships and monitor learner progress to support progression into employment or further study.

This role collaborates with the Careers Manager and Work Experience Team.

Qualifications

  • Any Level 3 Qualification (can be vocational and not specific to role) essential
  • GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent essential
  • C+ or 4+

Responsibilities

  • Secure meaningful work placement opportunities for learners
  • Develop and manage relationships with employers and external organisations
  • Monitor learner progress and track post-college destinations
  • Support progression into employment, further education, training or apprenticeships

Education

Any Level 3 Qualification (vocational acceptable)

Your Role

Horizons College is an innovative and inclusive specialist education provider for learners aged 16-25 with learning difficulties and complex needs. We proudly opened our campus in Royal Wootton Bassett's Interface Business Park in September 2022 and were rated "Good" by Ofsted in March 2024. Which was a fantastic achievement which our team were proud of on our journey to success. We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Work Experience & Destinations Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality work experience, careers, and destination programmes across the college. Working closely with the Careers Manager and Work Experience Team, you will play a key role in securing meaningful work placement opportunities, developing employer relationships, monitoring learner progress, and tracking post-college destinations. You will help ensure learners gain valuable workplace experiences that enhance their employability skills and support successful progression into employment, further education, training, or apprenticeships. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting learners and building strong partnerships with employers and external organisations. At Horizons College, our mission is clear: Empowering learners to shape their future, and this role is critical in helping us achieve that vision.
