Job description

Job Title: Work Experience (WEX) Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated Work Experience Coordinator to join our education team. You will work closely with the Work-Related Career Lead (WRCL) to deliver a comprehensive career-related programme for Year 12 and 13 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with WRCL to coordinate the career programme
  • Identify and support students ready for work experience
  • Source and secure suitable WEX placements
  • Conduct Health & Safety checks on employers and businesses
  • Monitor placements and ensure employer feedback is completed
  • Compile reports on career learning outcomes
  • Support delivery of workshops and career events
  • Engage with employers and volunteers to enhance vocational learning
  • Support students in preparing for post-18 education and employment
  • Occasionally undertake flexible hours including evenings

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid Driving Licence (non-negotiable)
  • Experience in Careers & Guidance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
