Job summary

Blue Oak Recruitment is seeking a confident Trainer to lead work at height safety training across utilities, rail and arboriculture sectors in the UK. You will deliver engaging sessions, help develop course materials and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The role requires independent session delivery, meticulous record-keeping, and a flexible approach to early starts and occasional overnight stays, with full UK driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Education & Training (or equivalent).
• Proven experience delivering training sessions independently.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Reliable, organised and proactive.
• Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience working at height (wood pole or steel structures preferred).
• Flexible approach to early starts and occasional overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structured training programmes to a high professional standard.

You’ll be delivering engaging, high-quality training sessions while supporting the development of course materials and maintaining exceptional compliance standards.

You must be comfortable leading sessions independently, managing delegates professionally and ensuring all training documentation is completed accurately and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing
