A leading company in public services is seeking a Work and Learning Advisor for their facility in Staffordshire. The role involves mentoring prisoners to achieve personal and professional goals, with a focus on education and employability. The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching and support roles, alongside GCSE-level qualifications in English and Maths.

Salary - £29,528 per annum
We are looking for a Work and Learning Advisor to join us at HMP Dovegate - a Category B adult male facility near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire where we care for up to 1160 male adult prisoners over the age of 21 serving a range of sentences including trial, remand, those awaiting sentence and convicted men serving long and short-term sentences.
TheWork and Learning Advisorwill be responsible for mentoring and guiding individuals toward suitable career and learning pathways, helping them identify goals and take practical steps toward employment, further education, or training.
What I need to do the role?
Mentoring or coaching experience, supporting individuals to achieve personal or professional goals
Customer-facing support role experience, ideally in education, employability, or community services
Minimum GCSE-level qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Maths
