Job description

Job Title: Woodwork Operative

Location: Outskirts of Ashford (must drive due to location)

Contract: Temporary to permanent

Salary: 12.28

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am-5:45pm, finishing at 4:15pm on Fridays

Duties:

  • As a Woodwork Operative, you will be responsible for assembling wooden garden fencing, fence panels, garden gates, entrance gates, and more. This role involves manual handling and heavy lifting. You will utilise handheld tools, machinery, and guns to assemble products effectively.

We'd love to speak to candidates who:

  • Are comfortable with physical, manual work and able to lift up to 25kg.
  • Have previous experience with handheld tools, assembly, production, woodwork, or labouring (beneficial but not essential).
  • Will need safety boots and hi-vis attire for this role.
