Job summary

La Retraite RC Girls’ School is seeking an outstanding Woodwind Teacher to inspire students from beginner to advanced level and to develop the woodwind programme within the Music Department.

The successful candidate will teach one or more woodwind instruments to Year 7–Year 13, lead the Wind Ensemble, and contribute to performances inside and beyond the school. This is a self-employed post, 6 hours per week, term time only, with day to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching one or more woodwind instruments.
• Inspire and develop students from beginner to advanced level.
• Comfortable teaching Year 7 to Year 13.
• Experience leading a Wind Ensemble.
• Self-employed post for 6 hours per week during term time.

Responsibilities

• Teach woodwind instruments to students from Year 7 to Year 13.
• Lead the Wind Ensemble and provide opportunities for performances inside and beyond the school.
