Job description

deVOL Kitchens is one of the leading and most highly regarded kitchen companies in the UK, with manufacturing and design offices based in Leicestershire, London, Bath, and New York.

We are looking for hardworking, motivated, and capable individuals to join our growing Fascia Preparation team at our busy Leicestershire workshop.

Your role will involve:

- Carefully selecting stock and bespoke fascias including frames, doors and accessories for each kitchen ready for the painting process.
- Preparing and finishing panels for all deVOL kitchen ranges.
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the process, ensuring work is completed on time while maintaining high standards.
- Fixing any imperfections before top coating.
- Keeping your work area organised and tidy.
- A rotation between Fascia Prep and the machine room when required.

We would love you to:

- Work effectively to meet all production deadlines.
- Have a genuine passion for working with wood.
- Be punctual, reliable and organised.
- Show excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing high quality work.
- Be confident carrying out manual tasks, including standing for long periods of time and some heavy lifting.
- Have some experience in wood finishing or bench joinery (advantageous), with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.

We offer a competitive salary and during your first year, you will receive training in the role and performance appraisals where your pay will be reviewed. After this, we offer annual pay reviews and continued support from the team.

You will receive 22 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) which can increase with length of service and experience, as well as life insurance, a wellness program, cycle 2 work scheme and company events.
