Job summary

Marks & Spencer in London is seeking a Garment Development Technologist to turn great design into market-leading Womenswear. You’ll use technical expertise to develop products that look great, fit beautifully and meet the quality customers expect, collaborating with Design, Buying and our supply base.

You will drive innovation, ensure compliance and responsible sourcing, and sign off essential docs like BOMs and Tech Packs, while delivering on deadlines in a fast-paced, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in fabric/material technology and garment construction.
• Strong communication with Design, Buying, and sourcing teams.
• Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience briefing direct design sourced product and creating Tech Packs.

Responsibilities

• Develop products that look great, fit well and meet quality standards.
• Create clear Tech Packs with fit, fabric quality, Made Well standards, construction.
• Approve fits and contract seals ensuring consistency with standards.
• Sign off BOM and ensure all legal, testing and safety docs are on system.
