Job summary

Marks & Spencer in London is seeking a Junior Product Development Technologist to join our Kidswear team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support the development and delivery of products that meet our quality, fit, safety and performance standards, working closely with design, buying, merchandising and supplier partners.

You will develop and maintain technical specifications (fit, construction, materials, components, blocks and measurements), manage samples and ensure PLM data

Qualifications

• Experience creating product specifications and technical documentation.
• Ability to interpret strategic briefs and translate into technical deliverables.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical development and delivery of a product area, ensuring standards are met.
• Develop and maintain technical specs including fit, construction, materials, components and measurements.
• Manage fit, block and pattern development activities; maintain libraries and seasonal patterns.
