Overview

The Women’s Wellness Zone is a service for women over the age of 18 residing in the London Borough of Ealing. We offer support with a variety of issues including substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse/violence, prostitution/trafficking, and offending behaviour.

The aim of the service is to provide the right support for service user needs, within a safe and confidential environment. We are here to support with sustained recovery, improve health and wellbeing, and help women find their place in society.

The service is a consortium made up of Change Grow Live and CAPE (Community Activities Project Ealing).

We are looking for passionate and reliable volunteers to join our WWZ Team.

Volunteering at Change Grow Live

Responsibilities

You will work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team of Recovery Practitioners, Doctors, Nurses, Psychiatrists, and Psychologists, to deliver high quality provision from point of entry into RISE.

You will support with:

  • sending letters and general office duties such as photocopying, filing and scanning
  • provide general administrative support to management, preparing for meetings.
  • keep notice boards, leaflets, and literature up to date.
  • monitoring the referral & assessment inbox booking appointments,
  • monitoring the WWZ email inbox
  • database management i.e., booking client & assessment appointments, opening new clients.
  • oversight of office inventory, including ensuring an adequate supply of office stationery
  • Ad Hoc administrative duties

This is a great entry level voluntary role for anyone who is interested in learning and gaining experience working within a Drug and Alcohol recovery service in their community.
