A leading women's support organization in Norwich is seeking a Women's Specialist Practitioner to provide gender- and trauma-informed housing support to women facing multiple disadvantages. This role involves managing accommodation and tackling barriers to housing. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting vulnerable women, with strong skills in trauma-informed care. Women’s Specialist Practitioner - Housing Support
The Magdalene Group is a well-respected, award-winning, innovative women and girls organisation, established in 1994, providing trauma- and gender-informed services with the violence against women and girls (VAWG) agenda at the heart of all that we do.
To provide gender- and trauma-informed support and care to women living in the properties who experience multiple disadvantage, sexual violence, exploitation and coercion. The post-holder will be based within the Doorway Women's Service providing tailored support to these women to manage their accommodation and tenancies; working to identify and understand the barriers women face and providing help and support to address these intersecting issues.
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Based at: The Magdalene Group, 61 King Street, Norwich, NR1 1PH, and other organisational premises.
Hours of Work: 30 – 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: £25,500-27,500 per annum fte.
Annual leave: 27 days plus Bank holidays fte
