Job summary

West Ham United FC in Romford invites applications for a Women’s Pathway Physical Development Coach. The role delivers and develops the Women’s Pathway Physical Development Framework, planning and reviewing physical development sessions across on-pitch, gym and preparation domains.

You will work with coaching, medical and performance staff to drive player development, monitor growth and maturation, and support return-to-play and progression through the pathway. Ongoing closing date.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery and ongoing development of the Women’s Pathway Physical Development Framework.
• Plan, deliver and review physical development sessions, including: Physical preparation sessions, On-pitch physical development, Gym-based physical development
• Support physical profiling, growth and maturation monitoring, and player development processes.
• Help players work towards physical development benchmarks and progression targets.
• Contribute to individual player development plans to support progression through the pathway.
• Work collaboratively with coaching, medical and performance staff to deliver an integrated approach to player development.
• Support the physical aspects of return-to-play programmes for Women’s Pathway players.
• Contribute to the continued improvement of physical development processes and practices.
