About us

Changing Lives is a nationwide charity helping people facing challenging circumstances to make positive change - for good. We believe everyone deserves a safe home, a rewarding job and a life free from addiction or abuse. We support thousands each year facing homelessness, addiction, unemployment, criminal justice involvement, sexual exploitation, and domestic abuse, focusing on their strengths and potential.

Our team of over 600 passionate colleagues includes many with lived experience of these challenges. We seek committed and compassionate professionals to join us in our mission.

About the Service - Women and Children's Services

We operate services and dedicated women’s centres for those at risk or facing difficulties, including women involved in the criminal justice system, those with trauma, or experiencing sexual exploitation. We recognize that women and girls have unique vulnerabilities, often linked to childhood abuse and domestic violence, impacting their health and wellbeing. All our services emphasize trauma-informed care, recovery, resilience, and community integration.
