The women's 1st XI hockey team at Plymouth University is seeking a coach for the 2025/26 season, starting in September.
We are interested in qualified coaches who can support our University Women's First XI Hockey team. Currently, we lead the BUCS women's western tier 2 and are on track for promotion next year. Additionally, we compete in West Women's Division 2 South, where we are currently 2nd and also aiming for promotion.
Our team plays at a competitive level. We train once a week on Mondays from 6:30-8 pm at Lipson Cooperative Academy. We typically have two matches per week, one on Wednesday and one on Saturday. We understand that coaching commitments may involve travel, and we are flexible regarding attendance at all matches.
This position could start as soon as possible or from September onwards, aligning with the next season. We welcome recommendations for experienced coaches or players competing in leagues at least two tiers above ours.
Funding for this role is primarily from sponsors, and it would be a paid position, commensurate with experience and level.
