St. Lawrence College is seeking a Women’s Basketball Head Coach responsible for preparing student-athletes for competition. The successful candidate will oversee coaching staff, develop practice plans, and mentor players in both athletic and academic pursuits. Ideal candidates will have substantial coaching experience and necessary certifications.
The Women’s Basketball Head Coach is responsible for preparing St. Lawrence College student-athletes for successful competition within the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA), and the Canadian Collegiate Athletics Association (CCAA). This position reports to the Manager of Athletics & Student Engagement and receives guidance from the Athletics & Student Engagement Coordinators and Engagement Content Creator. The head coach will work alongside regional coaches that assist in the implementation of program plans at each campus.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a Valid Advanced Development Coach (ADV) or National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Certification (or working towards).
A minimum of 4 years coaching experience at a competitive level (high school, club and/or College/University levels). Current certification in First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
