Job summary

NXA Talent LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking a BY WMS Functional Consultant (Discrete) to support customer implementation, upgrades and WMS projects in Nuneaton. The role is onsite full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, with a 60-minute unpaid break.

You will gather requirements, configure Blue Yonder WMS, manage integrations and Go-Live activities, and resolve incidents. Documentation and best-practice use of standard WMS features are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with Blue Yonder WMS on implementation, upgrade and support projects.
• Experience delivering WMS implementation projects across complex, multi-site or international environments with hands-on configuration.
• Strong functional knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS; certification would be advantageous.
• Experience working on WMS integration projects including customer and third-party integrations.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to challenge requirements for effective solutions.
• Strong communication with stakeholders from warehouse ops to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Support customer implementation, upgrade and WMS projects across requirements gathering, Blue Yonder WMS configuration, integrations, testing, Go-Live and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, deliverable SMART solutions within project timelines.
• Document development specifications for integrations, interfaces, forms and labels, challenging requirements where necessary.
• Identify opportunities to use standard Blue Yonder WMS functionality and configurations, escalating bespoke developments only when required.
• Support process improvement and customer change requests, and analyse incidents to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with Go-Live activities, migration and transition into the support function.
• Maintain clear documentation and provide reporting and consultancy support as needed.

Salary: Up to £45,000

Main Activities

• Support customer implementation, upgrade and WMS projects across requirements gathering, Blue Yonder WMS configuration, integrations, testing, training, Go-Live and incident resolution.
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and turn them into clear, deliverable and SMART solutions within project timelines.
• Document development specifications for integrations, interfaces, forms and labels, challenging requirements where necessary to ensure the most effective solution is delivered.
• Identify opportunities to use standard Blue Yonder WMS functionality and configuration wherever possible, only progressing bespoke developments where required.
• Support process improvement and customer change requests, as well as analysing and resolving incidents and helping to prevent recurring issues.
• Support Go-Live activities, migration and the transition into the support function.
• Maintain clear documentation around solutions and ways of working, alongside providing reporting and consultancy support when required.

What You Bring

Skills & Knowledge

• 3+ years' experience working with Blue Yonder WMS across implementation, upgrade and support projects.
• Experience delivering multiple WMS implementation projects within complex, multi-site or international supply chain environments, with hands-on configuration responsibility.
• Strong functional knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS, alongside a good understanding of its technical capabilities. Certification would be advantageous.
• Experience working on WMS integration projects, including customer and third-party integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the confidence to challenge requirements and drive towards the most effective solution.
• Comfortable working with large business and IT teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from warehouse operations through to senior management.
