North West / Temporary / £85 - 110 per day

Are you a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant?

A specialist SEMH provision in the Wirral Area (CH49) is looking for an outstanding Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with Social and Emotional Needs and Challenging Behaviour. Knowledge of working with Autism is an advantage. The ideal candidate must be patient, compassionate, and have a good sense of humour. You should be committed to implementing consistent behavioural strategies and fostering a positive classroom environment.

The position is available immediately on a long-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Requirements include:

  • At least 6 months’ experience in an educational setting
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour
  • Calm, patient, and caring attitude
  • Understanding of child protection and safeguarding
  • Experience supporting students 1:1 and in small groups
