Job description

We are currently seeking Mechanical Wireline Supervisors to support our busy team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. The WL Supervisor is the operative leader for the well operation offshore.
  2. Daily reporting to Archer’s Management onshore.
  3. Lead safety culture with focus on Archer’s five core values in line with other Archer personnel.
  4. Discuss adaptation, preparation and execution of intervention work with the Client’s offshore operations leader and in accordance with approved company procedures.
  5. Fully comply with the company’s Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Systems.
  6. Responsible for preparation of equipment checking that all necessary equipment is in place for required operations and any shortfalls alerted to the onshore team in a prompt manner.
  7. Responsible for the maintenance of tools and equipment in a professional way, and in accordance with Archer’s latest instructions and procedures.
  8. Be thoroughly familiar and promote the content of Archer’s governing systems.
  9. Be thoroughly familiar with Archer’s data reporting systems and with Client specific reporting systems.
  10. Register all deviations arising during operations and report these to the onshore team.
  11. Influence and guide your co-workers so that the Client’s regulations and procedures are always followed.
  12. Participate in specialist training as instructed by the Company and Client.
  13. Participate in relevant project work/meetings, courses, and any additional work in relation with this.
  14. Ensure close dialogue with Archer onshore support and the client to ensure optimum tool selection for operational deployments.
  15. Be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all equipment offshore and ensuring any shortfalls are highlighted and requested to be mobilized at the nearest opportunity.
  16. Aid in development of process & procedure for Archer growing organization.
  17. Participate in loadout process of equipment for specified jobs, if required by line manager.
