Job description

Due to expansion and growth of Archer Well Services, we are looking for new talent to join our UK Wireline team.

This role will have a focus on the UKCS; however, it will be internationally minded, supporting Archer's growing global Wireline business as part of a complete Well Services provider. This is an incredibly exciting time to be involved in a fresh and dynamic team, delivering safety-conscious yet high-performance work for our clients. Candidates should be aligned with our values by demonstrating that safety and performance is a priority, can work well in a team, and are enthusiastic and energetic about the work they do. You can expect a commitment to development through exciting opportunities and experience during your employment with Archer.

This role is the front-end focal point for operations in the UK, Africa, and Caspian regions and is responsible for ensuring that detailed planning of these operations is prepared. A varied work scope can be expected from servicing the growing P&A market in the UK to logging internationally with Archer proprietary tooling. The role will involve direct dialogue with offshore engineers before and during execution of the work and the Log Analysts for preparation and final deliverables to the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Be the operational focal point to customers and ensure full understanding of job objectives and that customers understand our proposed solution and technology.
  • Function as coordinator between mechanical, logging, and alliance partners on all operations in account.
  • Ensure that required tool sketches, tension simulations, mobilization lists, etc., are prepared and communicated with relevant parties.
  • Ensure pre-planning of the operations and post-job evaluation/reports, including engineer briefs and debriefs, are completed.
  • Work with management, HR, and Workshop to ensure required resources are available.
Education
  • A Bachelor’s degree or trade certificate is required. Long WL Logging experience can compensate for a lack of formal education.
Experience
  • The Logging Operations Coordinator must have a minimum of 3 years of electric line logging and perforating experience, preferably as a field engineer or in a similar logging coordinator role. Experience in P&A activities is preferred.

Candidates will be required to carry out a UK Right to Work check.
