Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain RF communication systems integrated with IP networking solutions.
  • Configure and troubleshoot networking devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, from Cisco, MikroTik, or Ubiquiti.
  • Implement VLANs, QoS, and VPNs, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
  • Perform site surveys, create codeplugs, and conduct remote diagnostics for radio systems.
  • Support VoIP, SIP, and Push-to-Talk (PTT) over Cellular solutions.
  • Provide third-line support for complex RF and network-related issues.
  • Collaborate on projects to ensure high-quality deliverables and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, DNS, DHCP.
  • Experience with routing and switching using wireless vendors such as Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Radwin, Siklu, Ceragon, Cambium, Mimosa etc.
  • Familiarity with VoIP and SIP.
  • Proficiency in using network troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, Ping, and Traceroute.
  • Basic knowledge of firewall configurations and VPNs.
  • SC clearable (Security Clearance eligibility).
  • Willingness to work 5 days a week on-site in Park Royal and travel to customer sites.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with DMR, PMR, PTT, and brands like Motorola, Hytera, Tait, or Icom.
  • Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or Motorola Solutions certifications (e.g., MOTOTRBO).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of radio programming, codeplug management, or mesh networks.
