Wire Harness Technician – Cirencester

Salary: £12.50 Per Hour

Our client based in Cirencester is currently seeking a Wire Harness Technician to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, working on high-quality cable harness assemblies.

Wire Harness Technician Roles and Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
  • Cut, strip, crimp, and solder wires to assemble harnesses in line with technical specifications
  • Perform continuity and electrical testing on finished harnesses using appropriate test equipment
  • Inspect completed products to ensure compliance with quality standards, resolving any identified faults
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assembly steps, materials used, and testing results
  • Provide suggestions for process or design improvements
  • Carry out routine maintenance of tools and equipment used in the assembly process
  • Follow all company procedures, including health and safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment, ensuring the correct use of PPE at all times
Wire Harness Technician Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in wire harness assembly
  • Confident in reading and working from wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Skilled in soldering, crimping, and using a variety of connectors and hand tools
  • Experience with testing equipment such as multimeters and continuity testers
Wire Harness Technician Working Hours and Benefits
