Job summary

Greencore Bow in London is hiring for a full-time, on-site role in the WIP Chillers team. Shift pattern Sat-Sun-Mon-Thu-Fri, 06:00-15:00 with Tue & Wed off, £13.63/hour.

You will prepare ingredients, follow safe procedures, monitor stock and traceability, and support production lines to minimise waste. On-the-job training is provided, with opportunities to gain Greencore qualifications and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food production environment is desirable.
• Good numeracy and a logical, analytical mindset are important.
• On-the-job training provided; no task-specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety, health and environment procedures.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices in preparation and handling of ingredients.
• Prepare ingredients and mixes according to procedures for current and following shifts.
• Maintain accurate traceability information and reduce waste.
• Work with the team to maximise efficiency and service to manufacturing lines.
• Weigh ingredients and rotate stock using FIFO.
• Monitor use-by dates to ensure product quality and life.
• Assist with shift stocktaking and follow directions from site leaders.
