Job summary

Fourth and Church in Hove is seeking a full-time front of house team member to join a wine-led restaurant and bar. You will serve guests with wine and dining experiences, working with the Restaurant Manager, Bar Team and Owners in a busy, convivial setting.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, share of service charge, and a pension scheme, with regular staff training and tastings as part of a supportive, wine-loving team.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with guests and team.
• Interest and knowledge in wine, beer and spirits; WSET qualifications are a plus but not essential.
• Smart, professional image and positive, proactive attitude.
• Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Take food and wine orders and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Communicate product knowledge to guests and provide wine recommendations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the wine list and assist guests with selections.
• Coordinate with kitchen and back-of-house to ensure smooth service.
