Wine Business Lecturer - East Sussex




Location: Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 3AE




Salary: Up to £34,463 per annum




Hours: 37.5 hours per week

The Role:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons covering all aspects of global wine business - including marketing, branding, export, logistics, and legislation.
• Design, plan, and assess lessons that align with industry standards and academic goals.
• Provide tutorial support and track learner progress from enrolment through to completion.
• Contribute to curriculum design and enhancement, ensuring alignment with market trends and employer needs.
• Represent Plumpton College at events, playing a key role in marketing and recruitment.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Teaching qualification or willingness to gain one, and Level 2 English and Maths qualifications.
• Substantial knowledge of the wine trade, including business operations, international export, sales, and legal frameworks.
• Strong teaching or training ability with a focus on learner engagement and progression.
• Excellent communication, administrative, and IT skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative working.
