Une entreprise dynamique recherche un Windows Migration Engineer pour un projet majeur de migration de data center vers AWS. Ce poste contractuel est idéal pour un ingénieur expérimenté en administration Windows et infrastructures cloud. Are you a hands-on Windows Migration Engineer with a passion for cloud transformation? We’re delivering a major infrastructure project, migrating a legacy data centre of 93 services into AWS by the end of 2025—and we’re looking for a Windows Migration Engineer to help make it happen.

This day-rate contract role is ideal for someone with strong experience in Windows administration and cloud-based infrastructure, particularly within AWS. You’ll be joining a collaborative and technically skilled team, contributing to one of the most significant migrations in our portfolio.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be responsible for migrating Windows-based systems and services from our on-premise estate to AWS. Your focus will be on configuring and optimising virtual machines, automating tasks via PowerShell, and ensuring a smooth, secure transition.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Windows Server environments, including patching, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Migrating workloads from on-premise virtualisation platforms (Hyper-V/VMware) to AWS
• Provisioning and managing cloud-based Windows instances using Infrastructure as Code and automation
• Writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts to automate deployment and operational tasks
• Working closely with cloud engineers, network teams, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery

Who You’ll Be

You’ll be an experienced Windows engineer with a strong foundation in systems administration and a growing expertise in cloud technologies. You’re comfortable working independently, but thrive in team-based environments where collaboration and quality delivery are key.

You’ll need:

• Solid experience in Windows OS administration in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly within AWS
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and configuration management
• Working knowledge of virtualisation platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware
• A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
