Job summary

Lifestyle Windows Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled window fabricator to read blueprints and translate designs into fabrication steps. You will measure, cut, and shape aluminium, uPVC, wood, and glass, then operate CNC machinery and other fabrication tools to assemble frames and panels.

You will install glass, apply weather seals, inspect finished work for quality, and work with the team to meet production targets in a safe workshop environment.

Qualifications

• No formal academic requirements for entry-level roles.
• Apprenticeships in fenestration fabrication, glazing installation, or manufacturing are common pathways.
• Experience in general manufacturing, joinery, or window fitting is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical blueprints and design specifications.
• Measure, cut, drill, and shape materials such as aluminium, uPVC, wood, and glass.
• Operate machinery and hand tools, including CNC equipment.
• Assemble window and door frames, conservatory panels, screens, and fittings.
• Install or fit glass panels into frames and apply weather seals or putty.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Repair or replace faulty components and adjust assemblies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow safety protocols.
• Coordinate with team members to meet production targets and document production processes.
