Job summary

Brighton College is seeking a Window Cleaning Technician on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will report to the Deputy Head of Facilities Services (Cleaning) and perform interior and exterior window cleaning across all sites to maintain a clean, safe, and visually appealing environment.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 4.00pm with a 60-minute lunch break (40 hours per week). Additional hours may be required for Open Mornings and College events on Saturdays

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence.
• Proven window cleaning experience.
• Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work at different heights.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning interior and exterior glass across all sites.
• Creating a cleaning rota based on requirements and accessibility of the buildings.
• Ensuring that all window cleaning equipment is in good working order.
• Cleaning up after each job, ensuring that there is no residue or dirt left behind.
• Assisting the rest of the cleaning department, as and when required.
• Any other reasonable management request.
• Overtime may be required for Open Mornings and College events at weekends.
