Job summary

NSS Group is seeking a Retail Window Cleaner for NSS Cleaning. You will travel to customer sites, delivering low-level window cleaning services using reach and wash systems and traditional tools.

The role follows a postcode-based schedule with standard hours 5am to 1pm and paid travel time, typically 15–20 jobs per day, with occasional weekend work. Full training is provided, and you will receive a fully equipped vehicle, uniform, PPE, a fuel card, and opportunities for overtime and progression

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
• Hard working with a can-do attitude.
• Good communicator with an eye for detail.
• Able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Comfortable using IT / smartphone devices.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various building locations within your region to clean windows using reach and wash and traditional tools.
• Follow a programmed schedule based on your postcode.
• Standard hours are 5am–1pm; 15–20 jobs per day with paid travel time.
• Most rounds are solo; some weekends may be required.
• Adhere to NSS Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Job description

Retail Window Cleaner at NSS Group (Cleaning)

Day work 5am – 1pm, 40 hours (Monday to Friday)

£12.77 per hour - £14.00 Overtime

(No experience necessary, full training will be provided)

Responsibilities of the role:

• To travel to various building locations within your region to deliver low-level window cleaning services using a reach and wash system and traditional window cleaning tools

• To follow a programme of works that is scheduled around the postcode in which you live

• Standard hours are 5am – 1pm.

• 15-20 jobs per day. Travel time is paid.

• Typically, solo rounds. Lone working

• Working on properties such as coffee shops, banks, clothing retailers and convenience stores.

• You may be required to work weekends on some occasions

• Adhering to NSS Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Lone working operatives deliver only low-risk tasks, with two or more people required for MEWP working, cradle works and anything above 3 metres.
