Winder Operator

Location(s): Brentwood, NH, US, 03833

Function: Manufacturing

Audience: Hourly

Work Arrangement: On Site

Pay rate: $24.31/hr

Shift Details:

  • B Shift: Sun, Mon, Tues, Alternating Wed, 5:40pm-6:00am (with 11% shift diff)
  • C Shift: Thurs, Fri, Sat, Alternating Wed, 5:40am-6:00pm
  • D Shift: Thurs, Fri, Sat, Alternating Wed, 5:40pm-6:00am (with 11% shift diff)

The Winder Operator is responsible for safely operating two production lines, ensuring high-quality product output in a fast-paced environment. The role involves packaging, quality checks, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and teamwork to meet production goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to plant safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in TPM, safety, quality, and housekeeping programs.
  • Perform quality checks and maintain control panels.
  • Operate winders, packaging, banding, and pallet labeling equipment.
  • Manage scrap and report production data accurately.
  • Respond to alarms, assist with machine repairs, and support changeovers.
  • Support training and development of colleagues.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing or process experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office, SAP, and related systems.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Ability to perform physical tasks, work rotating shifts, and wear PPE. Exposure to temperature variations, noise, dust, and heights. Ability to lift 40 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, and operate forklifts if certified.

All other duties as assigned. This role requires flexibility, safety consciousness, and effective communication skills.
