Job Purpose:

Reporting to the O&M Area Manager, you will be responsible for delivering scheduled and unscheduled maintenance services on Vestas wind turbines, with a preference for experience on V80 models. You will play a critical role in ensuring turbine performance, availability, and safety standards are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & Fault Rectification:
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance in line with the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Fault-find, troubleshoot, and repair wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic assemblies, and major components.
  • Perform proactive component repairs or replacements to prevent turbine downtime.
  • Safety & Compliance:
  • Adhere to all health and safety requirements, including the Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR).
  • Maintain the highest levels of safety standards on-site.
  • On-Call Support:
  • Participate in a weekend on-call rota to respond promptly to turbine faults.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Coordinate and manage local spare parts and consumable stock.
  • Communication:
  • Effectively communicate with team members, managers, and clients to ensure efficient operations and clear reporting.
