We are EDF Renewables - a dedicated and forward-thinking owner-operator with an extensive pipeline of new wind projects, committed to your safety, well-being, and a great employee experience.

Reward: £36,500 - £60,000 p.a, according to experience. We have a graded reward package to suit new entrants to the renewables industry through to the most experienced Wind Turbine Technicians.

Working hours: New Technician (37hrs) to Service Technician Level 3 (40hrs).

What you’ll do
  • Become a Multi-Skilled Authorized Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants.
  • Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorized Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.
  • Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer, etc.) Replacements.
  • Perform complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic, and Converter Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine.
  • Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride in the assets you maintain.
  • Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills.
  • Typically work in a two-person team within a supportive environment.

What skills do you need?

Fenlands, Peterborough Service Centre (PE7 2EU) - You will need to reside within 1 hour drive of this location.
