Job summary

Windtechs Ltd, part of the RSK Group, seeks a Wind Turbine Technician for a full-time role in Dolfor, Newtown. You will service wind turbines, perform fault diagnostics and repairs, and retrofit components as needed, with on-call rotations.

The role requires electrical/mechanical maintenance experience, a driving licence and good communication. The package includes £34,000 raising to £38,000, 33 days holiday, pension, private medical and training, with all PPE provided.

The Vacancy

Windtechs Ltd, part of RSK Group, have an exciting opportunity for a Wind Turbine Technician to join their team based in Dolfor, Newtown. This is a full-time, permanent position. You must be within 1 hours travel time from site.

Windtechs provides a range of services to clients, including annual and intermediate services on original equipment, manufacturer (OEM) factory manual specification annual inspections, major component replacement, including all electrical, mechanical and hydraulic works, optimum sourcing of replacement parts, oil sampling and analysis and high voltage (HV) switching.

The successful Wind Turbine Technician will be working alongside RSK group businesses – over 200 companies, utilising Windtechs’ engineering skill set to enhance the ability to provide a whole turbine service.

Salary and Benefits:

• £34,000 per annum rising to £38,000 after successful completion of Authorised Technician status under the WTSR1 in 3 weekends on call, standby payments of £2.5k per annum + overtime
