Job summary

Muehlhan Wind Service is seeking experienced Service Technicians to join the UK team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbine systems across onshore wind farms in Europe, working with an international team.

The role requires electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic expertise, strong safety awareness, and the ability to read schematics. You will document service reports, travel for rotations, and support installation as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Relevant professional experience in a similar wind-industry role.
• Safety-minded with strong commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for technical issues.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with site supervisors.
• Legal right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
• Physically fit for demanding environments, PPE, and climbing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wind turbine systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults
• Carry out repairs and replacements of turbine components
• Conduct routine inspections and condition monitoring of turbines
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals
• Work safely in accordance with HSE procedures and wind industry standards
• Support installation and commissioning of wind turbines when required
• Complete detailed service reports and maintenance documentation
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and PPE
• Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to ensure efficient operations
• Work at height and in challenging environmental conditions
