Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Graduate/Trainee Service Engineer to work on wind turbines from Harrogate with nationwide travel. The role includes extensive industry training and clear progression to a Lead Technician, with 41 hours per week plus optional overtime.

The successful candidate will hold a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering degree or background and join a leading renewables company delivering training and hands-on field experience across the UK.

Qualifications

• Background or degree in Mechanical & Electrical engineering (or similar).
• Hands-on, field-based role across the UK wind turbines.
• Commutable to Harrogate.

Responsibilities

• Shadow and assist a Lead Technician with fault finding, de-commissioning and general maintenance.
• Complete a 6-day training course to be equipped for future projects.
• Maintain detailed service records and reports of all work completed.
