Job summary

Enercon Services UK in Livingston is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to install components, maintain wind turbines, diagnose faults and generate reports. You will travel to sites across the region, climb turbines daily, and work at height as required.

You must be physically fit and able to manage paper and digital reporting for supervision. The role requires an NVQ/SVQ level 3 in Electrical or Engineering, a time-served apprenticeship, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ Qualification in Electrical or Engineering.
• Time served apprentice.
• Previous experience in an electrical or engineering role within a commercial setting.
• Experience in wind sector would be beneficial.
• Proficient using IT packages, including Microsoft Excel.
• Full, clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical components and maintain wind energy systems.
• Diagnose faults and generate reports for supervisors and management.
• Climb wind turbines regularly and work at height.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports on electrical activities.
• Ensure completion of electrical maintenance schedules on time.
• Carry out risk assessments and method statements when necessary.
