Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team in the UK is recruiting an experienced Model Maker to assemble wind tunnel models and parts for our Aerodynamic program. You will work with Model Design, Mechanical Design and the Additive Manufacturing team to deliver high-quality components on time.

Responsibilities include preparing parts, liaising with colleagues, and maintaining a professional, proactive attitude. Flexibility to work weekends and shifts will be required as project timelines demand.

Qualifications

• Automotive or engineering experience preferred, especially in F1.
• Strong understanding of high-quality part manufacture and model assembly techniques.
• Willingness to work weekends and shifts as project timelines require.
• Ability to scope tasks and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Excellent teamwork with cross-functional colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wind tunnel model parts and assemblies in line with the Aerodynamic program.
• Liaise with Modelmakers, Mechanical design, Aerodynamicists and Additive Manufacturing to provide parts for wind tunnel testing.
• Execute day-to-day tasks with a 'can do' attitude and manage timelines for high-quality models.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external groups to ensure parts are tested on time.
• Maintain professionalism and promote a positive image for the department and sponsors.
• Be flexible to work weekends and shifts as project timelines demand.
• Support growth and progression within the team and department.
