Job summary

Nadara is seeking an Operational Controller to supervise safe, efficient wind asset operations across the UK. The role includes site access control, handover of plant, and monitoring asset performance to ensure safe daily wind farm operations.

You will work with Asset Managers and engineering teams, following Wind Turbine Safety Rules, and contribute to continuous improvement within the Control Centre while supporting future European expansion.

Qualifications

• A qualification in a technical discipline would be advantageous though not essential.
• Experience in engineering or renewable energy is preferred but not essential.
• Telephone handling experience and ability to work in a procedure-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site access and work control, and that only authorised persons operate on site.
• Monitor wind assets via SCADA and respond to faults and alarms; produce regular performance reports.
• Act as first point of contact for health, safety and environmental matters on site; escalate incidents as required.
• Support continuous improvement and development of control centre services and processes.
• Collaborate with asset management, engineering and external stakeholders to optimise asset performance.
