Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and wider business, demonstrating an ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and changing marketplace while maintaining appropriate Engineering and Quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of RFQ for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders
• Evaluation of tender documents from suppliers to select preferred suppliers
• Liaising with met mast suppliers
• Organising and performing site surveys
• Managing TSA and contracts with suppliers
• Collating required information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in a relevant engineering, scientific, physics, or mathematical discipline. Chartered membership of an appropriate body is advantageous.
• Previous experience with UK onshore/offshore Wind projects is REQUIRED.
• Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
