  • Evaluate tender documents from suppliers to select preferred supplier.
  • Liaise with met mast suppliers and manage TSA and contracts.

Role Overview

The Wind Engineer will deliver Wind Measurement and Analysis services within the Engineering Team, CTO, and wider business, demonstrating an ability to add value to opportunities in a highly competitive and changing marketplace while ensuring appropriate Engineering and Quality standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of RFQ for met mast installation/decommissioning tenders
  • Evaluation of tender documents from suppliers to select preferred supplier
  • Liaising with met mast suppliers
  • Organising and performing site surveys
  • Managing TSA and contracts with suppliers
  • Collating information and documents for planning applications of met masts

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in relevant engineering, scientific, physics, or mathematical discipline; Chartered membership of an appropriate body is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in UK onshore/offshore Wind projects is REQUIRED.
  • Experience with Wind Assessment Software (Windographer, Windfarmer, OpenWind, or other fluid dynamics modelling software) and ArcGIS is a plus.
